fashion society

young fashion designer society – a non profit organization – is formed as a platform to advocate budding fashion enthusiasts covering subdivisions such as dressmaking, styling, makeup and photography.

officially launched in 2008, the society has since put together runway shows and it has since put together runway shows and charity showcases and mentoring session with local designers. more notably, 100 x strut a charity event for dove self-esteem fund and *scape. 100 designs were being showcases in four runway shows.

yfds was featured on ‘seventeen magazine’ on four consecutive issues and the ‘straits time urban‘, as well as on notable fashion blogs.
